Dematha (MD) and Huntington (WV), two of the best HS bball teams in the country are on "the U" after Wake-Miami.
Everyone knows Dematha, and Huntington is OJ Mayo's team. Should be a good matchup.
3 top 15 recruits are playing in this game. Austin Freeman leads Dematha.
Game is on now.

Huntington is playing at Marshall's arena, and apparently managed to get the PA guy from the Charlotte Hornets circa 1993.
Mayo keeps popping ill-advised pull-up threes...and airballed a pullup fadeaway 17 footer.

oj mayo is not impressing me at all, except with his totally sweet hair.
patrick patterson on the other hand, looks very good.

^^^ didnt say I hate blacks, just that I am not black.
^^ yes I follow it a lot, and yes I have never heard of it. And it looks like the most famous bball alumni are Danny Ferry and Adrian Dantley, alright, but not crazy. I am sure I have heard it, but didnt particularly stick in my head apparently 1/7/2007 1:42:17 PM |

I have gone to a few Oak Hill games.
They have the tiniest gym ever, seriously that place holds 100 people.
We saw Kryswasdfrsyki there one time, with Johnny Dawkins. 1/7/2007 1:51:06 PM |

Many great high school basketball coaches end up taking jobs at the college level, but some prefer to stay in high schools, where they can coach and teach. Among those who coached their whole careers at the high school level, Morgan Wootten (who coached at DeMatha forever before retiring in the last few years) is arguably the best ever. 1/8/2007 8:56:34 AM |
