I am selling a 1989 Honda Accord for only $800, and it runs great (and its clean)! All of the options work, including the A/C, power windows, power steering, and power locks! The car has 230,310 miles, but it runs great! There are a few cosmetic issues including a cracked windshield on the passenger side, a dented front fenders, as well as dents/dings/scratches/chips that are common with a car of this age. Mechanically, the car is sound with the exception of no 5th gear, and I am thinking that it is a shift linkage problem that I don't have the time nor energy to fix, but this does not affect the drivability at all (maybe the gas mileage on the interstate though!)

Bottom line is that this car is in decent shape, can be driven on a daily basis, is very clean, and it is CHEAP!

If you are interested contact me via e-mail or by phone at (919) 523-1072.I am located within the beltline in Raleigh and my name is Michael by the way! Thank you!

That's a little more than cosmetic damage, esp since it appears as though the turn signal is smashed.

I just saw that I put the wrong price in the description, I am asking $700, but that is negotiable to a point! Everything works on this car with the exception of fifth gear and of course the missing front corner lenses.

I am thinking that $700 may have been a little much, so I have lowered the price to $500, $500 for a running car with working options!

I don't know what county its was inspected in, but the inspection sticker does die this month. If needed, I can get it inspected before I sell it.

not unless you fix the corner lens.

$700 is a little steep for an old accord that has been wrecked and needs transmission work.

my offer stands if you decide to negotiate that far.

What offer?

Wrecked? The front left corner has a dent in it and its missing a couple of corner lenses. As far as the transmission goes, it doesn't "need" transmission work unless you plan on spending a lot of time on the highway. Your fuel economy is the only thing that may suffer. $500 is as low as I will go for a running and driveable car.

who are you to say it's not a bigger problem than you think and maybe the rest of it will go to hell at any time? are you a mechanic? has it been diagnosed by one?
