I tested the set in my car and it's 100% functional.
This set is DUSTY and old. One of the mids has had the dustcap reglued (not my doing).

selling for $80 b/c of the visual defects. ($350 retail.) bought them thinking I could use a second set in my car, but don't need 'em aferall (too lazy to work them into install). They sound identical to their 6.5" counterparts for anyone who's listened to those.

Do these have the pieces needed to run them in a COAX setup?

nope, but it's easy to do. the coax versions (the xr525cx are mounted through a pole)...you'd have to make your own tweeter island. As seen below, I used an aluminum peice in my pod install the last time I had jl components in my old car to put the axes together.
