One of my cousins got World of Warcraft for Xmas and the computer they have is about 6 years old. It won't run it. Can't build itself myself this cheap without going through a lot of hassle. Have looked at Craigslist, but a pain to sift through. Looking for a machine that will run it decently with following specs:- P4-2.0, 512MB, 60GB or higher (hyperthreading desired)- 128MB Video Card or higher (send me manufacturer / model number.)- Legit license for Windows XP Home or Pro- Keyboard, mouse, monitor or speakers not needed ... just the system itself.- Tower setup (no desktops or laptops plz)- $200-$300 price range.PM me with details.

While this is tww, where stuff is sold for pennies on the dollar, you may be expecting a little too much for your price range.

^^^Plz get out of my thread if you think a desktop and tower are the same thing.Actually, I bought someting off of Craigslist last summer close to these specs for $250 with monitor, keyboard and mouse and Windows XP Home. Video card I'm not too overly concerned about ... just don't want an 8MB or low-end POS that will only do 5fps.[Edited on January 14, 2007 at 7:31 PM. Reason : .]

how many computers w/ the specs you specified are made in a horizontal desk top(under teh monitor) case anyways? tower's are desktops cause you have them next to a desk with either a crt, or an lcd on* the desk, with a mouse on* the desktop as well - bottom line, if you use an external monitor, mouse, and keyboard setup on a stationary desk-like surface, it's a desktop computer. the tower is one part of a desktop computer, similar to a cpu being part of a computer, and not referencing the whole.
