we actually can't mail you the diploma until after your college clears you for graduation. they have up to 30 days from the end of the semester to do so.

that date is tomorrow (although we counted it as today).

once cleared it takes some time to print the diplomas. then we send them

It makes you think that the college would clear you before your walk. If I got a call right now saying that I wasn't cleared for some odd reason, then I would pissed...I'd get fired..haha

they actually do an initial clearance prior to graduation but of course it is all dependent on your fall semester grades.

yeah i can't believe transcripts aren't updated yet....

it is ridiculous if you ask me. I can understand a week or 2...but anything more is outrageous.

Generally, a couple of weeks is given (especially with holidays) after the beginning of the semester to allow grade changes to get resolved and late grades to come in. Thus, you can thank your peers and instructors (in some cases) for the reason transcripts don't get updated ASAP after the semester ends, not R&R.

If you have a need for a transcript, or a need for anything, talk to them and they'll work with you. Complaining on TWW does little to solve a true need.
