i have a toshiba laptop whos battery has gone to crap.... tell me tww, where is the best place to get a replacement?

Ebay is great for this kind of item. Just use common sense and get it from an Ebay store or Power Seller with high ratings and a clear return policy. Also, I would reccomend trying to purchase a battery that still has a valid manufacturer's warranty associated with it (1-year is good.) Failing that, find out how long the seller will warranty it or offer an exchange if defective.

I do not reccomend buying a used laptop battery unless it's:

1) Extremely cheap (as in so cheap you wouldn't mind if it died in 3 months)
2) Backed by a warranty or very good return policy from the seller
3) Refurbished and backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty (don't beleive this for a second without proof)
