why do you want 8's? I could hook you up with a set of mtw thunder 6000 10's for a pretty FAIR price.

10's wont fit in my car, the only thing that will give me room would be 8's

already tried a 12 that i had, then 10's and now im down to 8's

what kind of car?

[Edited on January 24, 2007 at 4:32 PM. Reason : I ask because you can fit 2 tens behind the seat of a regular cab pickup.]

MR2 spyder

I tried to fit them behind the seat as well as the small storage space that is located behind the seats as well and none of it worked effectively.

so yes...8's, anyone?

Wait a couple months, JL audio will have a 3" deep 12 inch sub out. require a .6 - .7 cubic ft box and will be in their lineup between the w3 and w6 series subs.

Are you looking for a lot of bass, or clean bass? I understand that a lot of bass will be relative.
Bluapunkt, Infinity, and a couple others make 3'' deep or less subs. Or you could go dual 8'' for cleaner sound.
Keep me in mind for a custom box.
