He might be building it up. But we need pics to make a better judgement.

Is your birthday today? If yes, then somewhat excusable cause he might be setting something up.

Birthday already pass? If yes, then not excusable. Maybe he died though.

if he forgot because he doesn't care, it's not excusable.

if he had a braindead thing going on today and forgot, it's excusable.

People make too big of a deal about their birthdays anyway.

It's excusable. Shit, I'm still not sure what day my brother's birthday is and I've known him for 21 years.

maybe he did forget.

but really, what's the big deal?

other than the fact that it's a big deal whenever it happens on TV.

If he's been very busy lately then i suppose it is.

If he's a dumb college kid with no real responsibility besides video games and school then just move on.

depends on how much time has passed since your bday
on your bday = very caring, you're the most important thing in his life
next day = forgive him if he was busy and simply forgot but still remembered the next day
> next day = inexcusable, jokingly remind him say "oh yeah it was my bday 2 days ago", then put the ball in his court

if he provides a slick response, dump him, cuz he's probably slick in other ways
if he provides a lame response, dump him, cuz he ain't very smart

so either way dump him > next day LOL

while it's an awful thing to do, it's an excusable thing. i mean shit, i've forgotten my MOTHER'S birthday...that was a SERIOUS mistake. she still takes me out to lunch

you can be angry for a bit, but then forgive him and move on after you've talked to him about it.

i don't know my dad's birthday...it's January something (i know mom's only because it's 11/11 and the day after USMC Birthday, which is always a big celebration)

I have no idea what ANY of my grandparents' birthdays are--even what months they're in (and I'm close to all of them).

i don't remember my girlfriend's birthday. it's early to mid December.

Hell, I have to stop and think about how old I am sometimes.

I would say that it's a pretty inconsequential thing, really. At the very least, there are bigger things to worry about. If he's good to go in general, I wouldn't sweat forgetting your birthday at all. Don't miss the forest for the trees.
