(or north raleigh or nearby) I'm looking for something halfway decent. I usually eat at cheap places cuz I'm a broke mofo, but I want to go someplace nice for a change.
What's out there? (not looking for pizza or buffets or any of that) 2/6/2007 11:21:37 PM |

I was wondering when we would get yet another restaurant thread in the lounge (we haven't made our 5 a week quota yet).

there's a fairly new nice italian restaurant in the corner of the Wakefield Kroger shopping center... it's actually quality italian, not makeshift americanized stuff like Miltons. They have 2 sections to their restaurant... a fancy side & a not so fancy, more family oriented side. I don't remember exactly, but I know that plates there are over $10/person (I think they were ~$14-$18). Best damn chicken marsala I have ever eaten.
Other than that, I can't think of anything super special that is resonably priced & near N. Raleigh. 2/7/2007 2:06:12 PM |

^that restaurant is called Giannis and Gaitanos. They were the owners of Cinellis, but this place is much better. My dad goes there all of the time and when I go, we normally sit on Giannis side, which is the fine dining. 2/7/2007 2:09:45 PM |
