This is a long shot but I want a MacBook or MacBook Pro, any specs will be considered. Would prefer one with a glossy screen. I have a $1000 cash to spend. DO NOT TELL ME ABOUT YOUR IBM, GATEWAY, DELL, ETC....I DON'T WANT THEM...  2/13/2007 9:26:13 PM

If I had $1k to drop on a computer...I'd just scrape together the extra $200 and get a new one.

What you could do....
look up information on osx86, then get on ebay and get a thinkpad (or similar) that is known to work with OSX. Then you do some more searching and googleing, and you will end up with a OSX on a thinkpad (for 400-600 dollars). Kinda gives new meaning to 'think different' 2/13/2007 10:26:37 PM |
