I'll pay $50 for a good working one, if any engineers have an extra weekend coming up. 2/15/2007 11:06:51 AM |

me too. I'd play with it in class and stop ppl from textin in class... But I'd guess that would back fire since I'm guessing it would stop wireless networks too... 2/15/2007 11:11:49 AM |

^my first thought was some teachers would probably get it if it was cheaper so they could make students stop texting, etc
it'd also be nice to turn on when cell phone users are annoying.. like if you're at a football/bball game and some dumb girl is yapping in front of you while you're trying to watch the game 2/15/2007 11:40:37 AM |

wireless networks aren't on those frequencies. b/g is on 2.4ghz, a is on 5ghz. 2/15/2007 11:40:55 AM |

the materials alone cost $165 according to that website. I'm not even sure if that includes the circuit board printing.2/15/2007 11:42:25 AM |

You can block wireless networks using the RF jammer, just need to specify. But I figured if you set it to jam all frequencies, it would include wifi as default.2/15/2007 11:54:52 AM |

aren't these illegal in the US? 2/15/2007 2:42:16 PM |

^ They're illegal in most industrialized nations. If they're weren't FCC rules reguarding the transmission of anything with the potential to interfere with RF communications there would most likely be too much chaos for any RF based communications system to exist. 2/15/2007 3:30:13 PM |

just as well for it to be illegal since it looks like fun... 2/15/2007 6:06:11 PM |
