I have a 97 Accord with the stock casette player. I recently bought the JVC KD G320 cd player for it but unfortunately dont know how to install it.
I can get it installed at BestBuy/Circiut city but they are just too damn expensive. If anyone here can install it for me, I am willing to pay for the parts and some for the labor.

i'm looking to get something like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140089331184) installed for my pioneer head unit so that i can hook up my ipod, hopefully installed so that the cord isn't coming out somewhere really ghetto. i already have a couple 6' mini to rca cables, but could pick up a longer one if i need to.

97 accord with a casette player--->

(1)Stick thumb inside of casette player, stick other fingers inside of the pocket below the casette player

(2)Pull REAL hard until the casette and pocket come out enough to where u can see the two screws holding on the pocket to the radio(should be one on the left and one on the right)

(3)Remove the pocket once you have unscrewed it

(4)Unscrew the two screws in the dash below the casette behind where the pocket used to be using a phillips or 8mm socket

(5) remove radio by unpluging harness and antennea

(6) Go buy a Harness and Dash kit (you can find these pretty cheap online otherwise they are around $40 at BB or CC)

(7) Wire up the harness you bought to the one that came with the radio color for color(ex. red to red; yellow to yellow) ** if there is a wire that is not there then just cap it off

(8) Break the proper tabs on the kit and shove it into the dash

(9) Insert the cage surrounding the radio into the hole in the kit once the kit is in the dash

(10) plug in the harness you wired and fish out the antennea

(11) test to see if everything works

(12) slide the radio into the cage until you here a click

This should take someone who has never installed a radio less than 30 minutes and a professional about 2-10 minutes

****WARNING- This does allow for easy removal by theives, but bolting the kit in usually does not prevent a theif from stealing a radio out of a 1997 accord(most of the time they actually just break your dash and steal your radio anyway)******
