This has worked before. Sony Vaio desktop that has appeared to crash. I don't know what the hell happened but it ain't working. And I'm not the guy to fix it. I have the recovery software, but it ain't working. I kinda need it done asap too. Anybody interested? I have cash in hand.
It starts up fine and then just goes blank.
It's got a cd-rw and dvd player and I would like to have those going again as well.
Any of you computer doctors need some spare cash?

it's a vaio. it should have a recovery partition and a utility to make recovery boot discs. if you didn't make the boot discs, then get to sony's support site and do the online chat thing and tell them your computer crashed and you don't have the recovery discs. they can send them to you. boot to the recovery disc 1. follow the instructions. the system will be returned to its factory state.

if it is a hardware problem talk to sony support. those people will spend an eternity troubleshooting with you.
