I'm not sure if it passed or not, but there were talks a couple months ago about banning some kinds of fatty foods or something in Chicago I believe. Thank God we have the government to protect us from ourselves!

its just a license that allows the cops to shut down parties a little easier. given how compact the city is its easy to see why they continued enforcing it after prohibition. Not sure that it would hold up in a federal court. hard to predict.
