^^ i knew we were good this year, b/c i started going this year. i did not realize we've been so good (in the acc) historically, though. i mean, 14 conference championships in 32 years is very impressive.

We'll see how good we are at the NCAAs. Any predictions on how many All-Americans we'll have. I think we have a legit shot at 1 to 2. Caldwell and Caramanica come to mind. Any other's? And how about the ACC as a whole?

isn't the ACC usually a weak conference for wrestling? maybe it's hard to judge wrestling conferences when you have programs like OK State out there.

It's all relative. The Midwest generally PWNs us.

Caldwell and Goodman might have a chance to do something in the NCAAs. Goodman made it to the third round last year, and Caldwell is frickin nasty w/ like 9 pins this season.

nicely done, go pack!

^I saw Caldwell wrestle when he was in high school and he was wicked good. Shit, anyone who watched him dominate Rappo this year at the Carolina match knows that the kid is something special. I can't believe I didn't think of Goodman earlier. I'm going to puch myself in the face for forgetting the guy who was a match away from All-American last year.

^^^The ACC has been one of the weaker confernces for a while. The Big 10 and Big 12 are consistently the two toughest conferences. The easiest way to tell is by looking at the nuber of at large births a confernce gets. While all conference champions get an automatic bid, the remainder of the seeds are dispersed among the conferences according to the number of All-Americans each conference has had in the past.

GO PACK

we're in a weak- "ER" conference... but i know some of the names floating around the ACC and i know that what State did saturday wasn't something to ignore... and to do that dang well ( we had 8? wrestlers in the finals... there are only 10 weight classes in college)... is impressive... i was out of town saturday and i really wish it could have been a different weekend

congrats to these guys

I was in Des Moines when they were having the state high school wrestling tournament. It's hard to appreciate just how seriously the midwest takes wrestling if you've never been out there.
