Montoya's crew only fueled the car halfway while he's leading... he's fucked.

i'm only semi-watching because boris said is in it. mother fucking boris said!!! i love that guy! scott pruett and ron fellows are also racing. sweeeeeet! nascar needs to get more proper road racers like these guys, and have more races on road courses. then, i'd actually watch nascar.

you'd actually prefer the monotonous pattern of driving in circles??? i'm not even going touch on the inferiority of oval track racing and oval track cars.

montoya is making the other drivers look like shit...the commentators talking about "he's passing people where I've never seen people pass before" was funny

To each his own taste. Oval racing is fun. Road racing is fun. They both highlight different skills. Oval racing is hitting the right setup. Road racing is a car neutralizer cause every turn is not the exact same and have to go for a more in the middle setup. That is why Darlington provides such great racing, cause the two turns are different and you have to be a great driver to win there.

Yeah its ridiculous that only 2 of the 36 Nextel Cup races are road courses...theres tons of road courses around, and a lot of them are in those oh so important big markets they wanted to get into....why build a boring ass oval track? Not even a good oval track, but a boring as fuck one like California. Hell the COT looks more like a road racing car, so put the damn thing on a road course already.

But then again its tough to get 5 consecutive laps of green on a road course for NASCAR drivers (see the end of todays race), so maybe its best to stick with ovals.

To each his own. If you've ever been to an oval race you'll know why they're awesome. You can't beat 4 wide at 190mph imo.

it just goes to show nascar drivers are good at making left turns, but suck balls at anything but an oval

you get that in road races. how about 4+ wide decelerating from 210mph to about 60mph to enter a 90 degree flat turn?
