Since my job is super boring but not really a situation where I could listen to music without catching flak for it here is my original idea: Wouldn't it be great if someone had a radio station or some other streaming music that I could call into over a phone line to listen...that way it looks like I am on the phone
Anways since I don't know of anything like this that's available I started thinking about how to set it up for myself and I figured it might be possible with Skype, although I don't have the technical knowledge to figure it all out.
But basically I would get a Skype phone number that can be called from a landline. Set it up to automatically answer any calls, and stream music from my computer.
Is this possible? If it is, does anyone know how I can do this? 3/7/2007 11:57:27 AM |

Wouldn't holding a reciever to your ear for an extended amount of time while listening to music be annoying. Just get like a phone headset or whatever and listen to music through that like you would headphones. 3/7/2007 12:08:18 PM |

Yes, I do. If he's using headphones anyway, he should just stream in some internet radio or something. 3/7/2007 12:16:04 PM |

I have a headset at work but it only plugs into the phone, not a computer or anything that would be able to play music 3/7/2007 2:33:34 PM |
