Has anyone had their bathroom remodeled by Re-Bath, or done it themselves?

I got an estimate yesterday from Re-Bath to have my tub replaced with a walk in shower & sliding glass doors. It will really improve the value of my townhome, and plus it'll be nice to have a decent shower instead of the shitty thing I've got now.

I did everything except the shower in my bathroom. The tub/shower were just plain white and still looked relatively modern.

I did new sheetrock, porcelain tile flooring, maple vanity cabinet, cultured marble sink, crown molding, etc. I did it all for around $600, but I got a lot of hookups along the way. It would have been a $3000+ job for most people if you paid to have it done.

J, myself and a buddy of ours Tony redid our bath tub area. We moved into an older house...built in '52 or '53 and it only had sheetrock in the shower area and I mean wet sheetrock is no good!!! It had some coating on it but still fuck that. We put that vinyl stuff up and got new fixtures cuz the others were very old, crappy and just plain fuking ugly. For everythign that we did it was less than $100. We aren't done with the house yet but we just do lil by lil. Like we didn't have a dishwasher but we do now and they didn't have washer n dryer hookups but we do now, etc... We also completely ripped out the sheetrock in one room and redid it which showed us that there is absolutely no insulation in our walls!!! That one bedroom has it now and we will prolly get that spray in crap in the others because they don't need to be completely redone

We also installed a new toilet but we got it for free...J is a plumber So we got it and alot of the construction materials for free but not the vinyl or other stuff for the bathroom mentioned above but everything to redo the walls in that one room except for the insulation

i would love to get new sinks and tubs to upgrade the townhouse...but for now we're just taking the wallpaper down in all of our bathrooms and painting them. maybe further down the road we'll upgrade.

the work that I want done is not something that I want to undertake myself, so I'll be hiring someone to do it for me

I dont have the time or patience to get it done on my own
