I just printed a job, 124 pages.
Look at my account, shows up at 15376 pages, with a balance of $-3729.95
Needless to say, I NEED TO FINISH PRINTING, I just bought a damn hundred bucks worth of print quota. Is there anyone I can call to get this resolved ASAP? Damn help desk is only open Monday to Friday 3/10/2007 2:13:18 PM |

Yeah, I work there.
If you PM me your unity ID, I can take a look and see what's going on... can't make any promises about getting stuff resolved, though.
Also, just go to print.ncsu.edu and go to the Report a problem thing... fill out the form (I think you want 'dispute of a charge')... and they'll get back to you (unfortunately, not until Monday morning). The people that actually handle the wolfcopy billing are really good about crediting money back when it appears that the printer went totally haywire.
Hilarious that it thinks you printed 15000 pages at once. Seems like we'd have a system in place to prevent those sorts of billing errors. Sorry that it happened to you, though. 3/10/2007 9:17:01 PM |

yea I got everything printed eventually thanks to some friends. Definitely submitted a report, not a big deal anymore except to make sure it gets resolved!

I needed to print about 500 pages today by 3:00pm. Color laser was the only option

Yea, had I ended up with another 3-4 hours to print everything, that was exactly my plan, to go get one.3/11/2007 12:14:41 AM |

Aside question: Does the lprm trick still work on campus? I last used it in '05 when I transferred to a different school. 3/11/2007 7:36:25 AM |

^^^yea it does, but since there's no more EOS computer lab in Leazar (they renovated the whole building for Design School use) that took out the last big bastion of Sun computers. 3/11/2007 3:48:16 PM |

Does it only work on a direct Sun machine log in? Or can you ssh in to the Sun cluster and do it from there? 3/11/2007 11:43:04 PM |
