So where do you get your healthcare if you work for a nonprofit? Is there assistance from the government or you just have to buy your own? or just marry someone with healthcare ?
I am just curious. Any insight would good. thanks. 3/11/2007 1:11:11 PM |

Health care was part of our benefits package, just like any other professional job. 3/11/2007 4:04:43 PM |

Being nonprofit and having benefits aren't mutually exclusive. In a smaller nonprofit organization, talk to your HR person (or owner if its small enough) about benefits. If they don't offer them, you should probably take into consideration the cost of benefits as a part of your pay. Not sure how much you like where you are, but if they don't offer benefits to salaried employees, I wouldn't work there. 3/11/2007 4:33:48 PM |
