I'm currently looking at getting Panavue's Image Assembler (http://www.panavue.com/en/downloads/pia/trial.htm) however would like to find a free version like the one that was offered from MIT for the PC (will find the link later).

Anybody know of some good photo stitching software for the Mac otherwise? I have some great panoramic shots from the west coast I've stitched before and I'm heading to the Grand Canyon and would like to be able to take more.

i was looking for one that I used a while back on google, but can't seem to think of the name. it's Stitch, or Stitcher, or something like that.

I did come across this though:

i have some kind of Kodak Photostich software. it works pretty well.

i used it to stitch these grand canyon pictures from a friend (the pictures weren't really good, so that limited the stitch)

There are a lot of quicktime resources to do this pretty well.

I'm looking for something quick and dirty like the DoubleTake software.

However, I'd rather not have to line up all the photos. The picture I took of the Santa Monica Pier was about 55 photos, I seriously don't want to be lining all those up!

I like a lot of pictures Noen, on the pier you can see the ferris wheel and everybody on it and what color their sunglasses are!
