in BBall. Who cares if an offensive player touches a ball that their teammate threw up thats still on the rim...if he can get to it like that and tap it in..then let him. I dont understand how it helps the other team...its actually a loophole almost saying oh you got around your guy timed your jump and got high enough to tap it while it was on the rim...take away the points.

it would actually help the other team if it wasnt a rule...say a guy shoots a three and its bouncin around and someone taps it, it then becomes a 2.

yeah, there is no b-ball interference of any king in European leagues.

The defense can swipe the ball off of the rime if it is bouncing around, which I think is hilarious.

I'm not a fan of that rule but it does make it interesting.

in europe i know the defense can swat a ball away thats bouncing on the rim as long as its not directly above the cylinder

they might allow the offense to do this too, not sure

yeah i dont like the defense being allowed to grab it off the rim either...

granted, most of my shots never touch the iron so it wouldnt really matter to me anyway

if you're gonna let the offense swipe around at the ball while it's on the rim or in the cylinder then you have to let the defense do it as well, and well, that's just retarded

If you dont allow the defense to do it too then the offense would just launch themselves at the rim every play to clean up. That would be stupid.
