and I was hearing that he was going to be retained once again, Amaker staying at michigan so long has really been the biggest head scratcher in college sports outside of John Bunting
anyways I think that leaves about one decent k protege left, mike brey, they better hope johnny dawkins is one hell of a coach

Michigan was supposed to be great this year. I say good. Schools really good at two sports irritate me. 3/17/2007 2:51:57 PM |

^ yeah the restrictions definitely affected his ability to recruit. Who would want to come a program that doesn't have a chance. 3/17/2007 5:42:01 PM |

I was serious about Brey getting fired.
This year was his most successful season at ND and he lost in the first round. 3/17/2007 6:06:40 PM |

I think it's kinda serendipitous that he got fired after a loss to an ACC team (FSU) in the NIT. 3/17/2007 7:42:15 PM |

Kinda sucks that he coached for 5 seasons with NCAA sanctions over his head, then got fired after the sixth... 3/18/2007 3:50:17 AM |

Also, Jeff Capel played, but never coached at Dook. He started out under his dad.
