Everything over 120 is pretty much the same...real blurry hah. When I hit 150 I passed a car in the middle lane doing around the speed limit, i wish i could have seen the look on his face as I blew by at twice his speed haha.

Yea, it was my baby...I hated to sell it and I cried forever afterward...however, being SS less didn't last but, oh, three or four months. I ended up getting an 02 and have done all sorts of fun stuff to it. Also got a 97 SS that I drive daily. However, I still miss that red car....SO many memories in that thing...tons of awesome, wild times.

I had a fleeting thought of buying it back, but right now I have enough cars, lol. I know Fred took really good care of it! Mind if I ask why you are selling?????

I got a job down in Charlotte which is gonna require some traveling, so unfortunately i need to get something a little more highway friendly That car has been so much fun though and I'm not looking forward to parting ways with it! but I'm hoping I can buy another one or a Corvette a few years down the road so there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Congrats on your job! So you'll be graduating this May?? It seems like you just started, lol. I graduated this past May, but started up again this fall on another degree. This WILL be it, though!!! Time to start making some freakin money!

I hear ya on the gas mileage issues...these cars don't do so bad on the highway, but in town is another issue! I would love to get that car back...may have to have a chat with pops, hehehehehe.

Nah, all I ever did was toss a shifter in that thing. I never really had a propensity to drive like a jackass, even in my sled.

Mine might undergo some improvements and actually see the light of day again in the near future, btw. I miss driving it. I've been too busy to really mess with it for a long time now.
