I have no clue what the man is thinking. He is leading the points standings after three races for the first time since 91' (according to nascar.com). why in the world would he adhere to the reduced schedule that he planned to race in the beginning of the. year. Do you think he is scared of the car of the future? 3/20/2007 1:46:30 AM |

i think he is just keeping his word to his family. thats the only reason he is wanting to retire anyways. but thats just my opinion. personally i would race to win the championship but i guess he has got his priorities in order. 3/20/2007 1:55:56 AM |

probably. I still disagree with his decision. I'm sure he has all the money in the world and he is more than happy with how his life has turned out, but he does not have a championship. Until he starts to slip I say keep racing. He is killing it this year with some BS team. Just a testament of Martin's ability. Move away from a Nascar Juggernaut like Roush Racing and then leads nascar from week 2 on. 3/20/2007 2:04:30 AM |
