alright so i'm trying to watch a movie that's on my compute on my tv. I plugged in one of those s-video cables and nothing shows up on my tv. I went to video 1 and video 2 and tried all the channels and nothing shows up. do i have to do something on my computer to send it out? Any help would be appreciated

I know for old video card i had to right click on the desktop>properties>desktop tab>enable second desktop

Laptops usually have a key combination (Fn+F4 on mine) for this. Look for a rectangular icon on your function keys

Should be Fn+F7 on Thinkpads. Look for the key on the keyboard with what looks like a monitor
