I most likely know the answer, but why not. My cpu was buggy so I was in safe mode fixing things. For some strange reason I went to the User account option in the control panel and realized I had two admin user accounts. Since I only use one and hated always having to go to that start up screen to pick which account to use in xp I decided to delete the other account. Well it asked me if I wanted to delete the files associated with that account, and without thinking I did.
Yeah its all gone. Not my programs, but all the music, docs, and other assorted goodies I collected over the years. Is there anything I can do other than look pretty for the dumbass of the year award picture?
Oh yeah no restore point. Guess I turned it off a long time ago for some dumb reason and forgot to turn it back on.

I hope you didn't download any new files or use the computer alot... cuz in doing so you could have wrote over some of the old files sitting there. 3/28/2007 8:05:56 AM |

I tried both programs offered. The undelete looked great but couldnt really get that much out of it using the trial feature. The recuva has worked great. Thanks for the help and hopefully I can get the stuff that I need.
