a friend of mine is switching email addresses from intrex to roadrunner and is having some problems. she's trying to send emails out to people to let them know that her email has changed, but on many of them, she's getting something back saying that the mail can't be sent or the other side can't receive it, but those email addresses are valid. And now they keep sending notices over and over saying the emails can't be sent, literally over 1000 emails. She also said that in the new email address she got some spam or potential virus saying that she's won some money. She then went to send an email to someone else and beore she sent that email she realized that somehow the spam mail was at the bottom of the mail she was composing;and no she wasn't accidentally forwarding the other email. Another thing that might be helpful to know is she uses mcaffee and some other spam protection. could there be a protetion setting that is causing email to be bounced back? If anyone has any ideas as to what's going on let me know. thanks 3/28/2007 8:50:44 AM |

just using the web to access mail. not using a client. this is a roadrunner account. this is a new account, so there hasn't been enough time to sign up for anything yet so that's not the problem. 3/28/2007 10:44:11 AM |
