that salon at the mall... Aveda? something like that. i think whole foods carries an array of oils in their health and beauty aisle too. it may all be the same as what michael's sells. i don't know if there is a difference between oils for skin, candles, or cooking. 4/2/2007 2:58:14 PM |

you can make a peppermint infusion using peppermint teabags, which i bet are easier to find. that's known to provide relief, and if you like the taste, you don't have to have an upset stomach for you to drink it regularly.
or you can make an infusion with fresh mint, or dried mint. 4/2/2007 4:46:16 PM |

Grand Asia has Ginger tea, which I think is better than ginger ale because ginger ale has all kinds of other crap in it like HFCS if it isn't diet and Nutrasweet if it is diet; lose-lose situation there.
Hope that helps! The ginger tea really isn't bad at all; I don't even need to sweeten mine, it tastes delicious naturally. 4/2/2007 4:56:34 PM |

^ and ginger has been clinically proven to be more effective than motion-sickness pills.
no joke.
here is what i recommend to the ailing thread-maker:
peppermint and ginger infusion with honey.
you can make it with any combination of the following:
fresh ginger dried ginger candied giner ginger teabags
fresh mint dried mint mint teabags
steep your ingredients in freshly boiled water for at least 5 minutes, and add a tablespoon or two of honey. stir and enjoy. you could even chew/swallow/eat the ingredients at the bottom (not teabags!!!).
