Very nice, Bobcats are being projected at about #7 with Al Horford or the next China prospect Yi Jianlian

Bobcats picking around 7/8 in that scenario.....in my nightmares J. NOah slips to that range and the Bobcats pick him. I think I would stop being a fan if that happened.
I'd be alright with them pickin either of the Al's, Horford or Thorton, maybe even Roy Hibbert 4/11/2007 12:37:48 PM |

Okafor is solid though
but Howard is a future Hall of Famer
I just did it again and we got the first pick and took Durant
either way, everyone is predicting us to go and get Rashard Lewis, which would be real nice, but we've got to sign Gforce back

for real Horford will get picked over Noah...bet the farm on that one
also Lawson (as well as Hansblow) announced they are staying...so obviously Lawson won't go 12th

most everytime in that mock draft Noah is picked over Horford, but really either way, one of those two players will be available in the 7/8 range, and I'd much rather the Cats pick Horford.
PLEASE don't let them pick Noah!! 4/11/2007 12:47:21 PM |

that dude Yi Jianlian looks like a baller though
Quote : | "On the year, Yi's averages are: 20.5 PPG, 57.41 FG %, 75.08 FT%, 9.6 RPG, 1.3 BPG, 1.2 APG, 2.0 SPG." |
7'0" 230 lb power forward...i guess move Emeka to center?

I wonder if the Bobcats want to take a chance on this guy. I'm not an NBA scout but, I wonder how his game would fit in with the rest of the team we have. Also, since franchise inception they have gone with proven college players....
^the music with the one on the left is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!
he does look pretty athletic on some of those dunks, but I wonder about the competition and his rebounding

I like Brewer and Hibbert with Brewer fitting more of the Bobcats' mold at this point.
but this Yi Jianlian guy I'm not on board with...who knows how he's gonna fair against guys who are longer and more athletic than he is?
http://www.draftexpress.com/viewprofile.php?p=44
I'd be fine with Brewer, Hibbert, Horford or even Thorton...outside of Oden or Durrant, of course.

so what moronic team is going to trade greg oden for whatever picks we get? MAYBE if we got like 3 and 20 they might trade...but I mean nobody in their right mind would trade the #1 pick IN THIS DRAFT for 7 and 20, for example 4/11/2007 2:55:47 PM |

if the bobcats were to get the #1 I initially thought they would have to take oden and let okafor play his natural position but there wouldn't be alot of offense compared to if they got durant. 4/17/2007 10:42:51 PM |

i think if the bobcats got the #1 pick, they would take oden and let okafor play PF
who knows how it will go? sure our chances of getting the first pick after our recent wins is shitty, but two things:
1. its easy to realize that losing the last few games will help your draft chances, but its hard to pull for the bobcats to lose when you're actually at the game 2. last year we got the 3rd pick, right? we picked morrison...how has that worked out so far? 4/18/2007 2:38:53 AM |

I would think after Jordan gets a good up close look and Kevin Durant and sees he might be a little mike, we would be drafting Durant
Instead we will be waiting till our double digit picks to get a Corey Brewer or Jeff Green
just please not another over hyped white guy that cant play 4/18/2007 11:39:41 AM |

IF teh Bobcats won the lottery, He bobcats should definitely select Durant. Especially after the A-Mo idea
