These features are drastically needed:

-Dot folder - put a small dot next to the threads youve posted in (in the *NEW* and *OLD* markers)-
-quoting - have a button by a post where you can quote that post. using ^^^ is annoying and a waste of time.
-searching - can we have a search that actually works?

Just use a link to your post history and work off of that.

I actually like using ^^^ 10000000% more than filling each page being filled with quote bombs.

do you reallllllly need to to search the bodies on threads? Is topic search not good enough for you?

clicking on the number under 'replies' tells me if I have posted in a thread

for example, click here /message_replies.aspx?topic=471859

1. ok you both are mistaken. the point of the dot is to look at a page and say o, ive posted in that thread already or o, i posted in that thread, let me see if anyone responded to my post. it's pretty fucking obvious you can waste your time clicking around to see if youve posted in a thread. my point is i don't want to waste time.

2. there are ways that only the person you quoted shows up. everybody they quoted can be left out. vBulletin does this.

3. i am talking about topic search. it has never worked correctly.

always always always works for me with no problems

maybe you need to go back to How to Search for Topics 101.

if you people would realize that you ARE NOT FUNNY and would start TITLING THREADS CORRECTLY then searching would be a lot easier

I know some tweaks have been made to the CrazyCode over time.

My questions:

1. How large a change would be required to increment CrazyWeb from supposedly current version 2.38 up to version 2.39, or even 2.40?

2. When was the last time the CrazyWeb version number was incremented?

3. Is there a version history listing maintained?

1. 3 files need to be changed (although only 1 needs to be changed for page footer to be updated - the other 2 changes are useless dll metadata). other than that, the decision to increment or not is arbitrary and solely at the discretion of current BDFL

2. March 24, 2021

3. yes (but only goes back to 2012 when git became de facto source control for software development projects. I used svn and TFS (real ones know) prior to that. we were on 2.22 when I started maintaining things RIP site3)
