This thing is ridiculously fast. I originally bought it off of ebay. It was one of those no-name China-made scooters. I bought it with the intentions of modding it just to see how fast I could get it. It orginally came with a 50cc engine. I junked that and installed a Zongshen 110cc engine (Zongshen is a well-known Japanese-made engine. It is used in a lot of race bikes.) and 4-speed manual clutch transmission (Yes, you have to shift this thing like a real motorcycle. It has the 1-down, 3-up shift pattern.). All the electronics and wiring have been replaced. It has a Kitaco coil and CDI box. It has a 26mm race-ported carb with matched intake. The head on the engine has been ported. There is a Brembo-clone caliper and rotor set installed up front. The engine was broken in using Honda HP4 oil before it was switched to fully-synthetic Mobil1. It comes with 2 exhaust systems; a street-tuned pipe (installed) and a full-race pipe. The street-tuned pipe sounds awesome and isn't too loud but very noticeable. It definitely makes heads turn. I get stopped all the time by people wanting to know "what that thing has". The race pipe is an all out eardrum buster. It is loud! It allows the engine to reach it's full capability at the top end of the r.p.m. band. This scooter will pull the front wheel off the ground without dumping the clutch and tops out at over 70 mph. In fact, I've had it streched out and looked down and saw the gauge showing 120 km/h which converts to 74 mph. The converted mileage is 347. Like I said earlier, this thing is ridiculously fast. It's time to pass the fun on since I just don't have the time to ride it anymore.

I like how you changed the nationality of the engine so that your previous statement doesn't make your bike look bad.

I'm sorry, but Zongshen is another one of those "no-name" China-made engines. I doubt it's good

^china-made motor... doesn't mean it isn't enough to get you where you need to be.

Pretty cool that you rigged that thing to go 70... heh, I wish I could harness more power out of my 250's engine New bike soon enough, though. /randomness

Yes, The zongshen is a china made engine but it is not a no name china engine. There are a whole lot of shitty engines that come out of China, especially Honda clone engines like these but Zongshen is one of the top 3 when it comes to quality. There are about 100 companies that produce these engines in China but Lifan, Zongshen, and GPX make engines that compare to Honda quality. They are built using tooling bought from Honda, when they discontinued the horizontal 4stroke
