My cat is lost on campus somewhere and I'm looking for help identifying where the stray cats on campus usually hang out. I've been told by the campus police that there are lots and lots of them. My cat is missing and I think he has made his way from Pullen Park to the NCSU campus.

If you ever sight stray cats on (or near) campus, can you email me and let me know where? I would be so appreciative.

If you want to look for my particular cat, I've posted on craigslist for a missing white and gray long haired cat. There are pictures of him there.

Last week sometime I saw a cat next to Yarbrough Dr. behind Riddick, next to the steam plant. There were some food dishes out there and he was eating. Actually...looking at the pictures of your cat...it might have been him. I know it was gray and white but I don't remember if it had long fur like your cat's.

When I used to work at Playmakers There was always a ton of cats out behind there by the dumpsters eating all the chicken wing bones and what not!

There must be places where people are feeding cats on campus. Does anyone know of specific locations where I can look?

if you look on that map at building 29, i've often seen cats there (to the left of it on the map). someone leaves dishes full of food, so your cat might have gone there. there's also an old building which i think is unused, so maybe he's hiding out.

last night I saw a black and white or grey and white car between the Coliseum Deck and Reynolds Coliseum. He made me slow down as he crossed the road, avoiding getting a ticket from the cop hidden at the end of the road good luck finding your cat. They hang out near the railroad tracks a lot or near the parking decks

if you would put some pictures up, it would help. i tried looking for the craigslist post, but i didn't find it. at least post a link to that or something.

a gray and white cat (very domestic, but no collar) turned up at my house not long ago, but i dont know that i'd say it was long haired... kinda depends what you mean by that i guess. i petted him and left him out there, i figured he was probably the neighbors kitty or something. i live down on gorman though, so chances are it wasn't yours.

check out the area around the "State College" chimney stack. People put dry cat food around the construction zone there.

Thanks for all the tips so far. The search and rescue dog was very interested in the Reynolds Coleseum deck, so I'll concentrate some efforts over there.

How come the campus police think there are LOTS of cats on campus and replies to this request have only sited a couple of places where cats hang out?

Has anyone seen cats around Wood Hall?--the search and rescue dog I hired was very interested in that area.

Does anyone know if the cats come out more often on the weekends since there is less traffic?
