I'd kind of like to hear from some people that have done it before, but how many summer classes will the average person take? I'm signed up for three (1 in first session, 2 in second session), but I'm not sure if that will end up being too much, or just right, or whatever. Thanks in advance

Though it's also completely dependent on just what classes you are taking. If you're taking 2 classes and one has a lab, it can get awfully tiresome because you're in school so much and there might be a lot of work. Though it is very true that professors during the summer have to cut the work load a bit due to the shorter time span, so take that fwiw.

I took 3 classes in two sessions.... but really only 2. One session I took PHI340 (which was a joke when I took it) PSY200 and PE216. So, really I was only in one class for summer session but it was 7 hours.

The second session I took ENG331 and PSI200 ( I think ) and then some other BS 1 hour class that didn't require any real work. I think it was an online class.

Anyway. I would say you're gonna max out at like 9 hours (and 9 hours will totally BLOW) I would stick to 6 and only go more if you know additional classes won't require any real work.

1 class summer sessions were alot of fun b/c you could really delve into a class that interests you, and still have plenty of time left over. Its one of your few chances to have one class that you can give your all to, instead of choosing between doing this assignment on time for one class, or studying for that test enough for another class, or seeing you friends who wont be in town most of the summer etc.
