IBM thinkpad 770. has Windows 98. very old and thick, but works. Comes with wireless card. I used to take it to classes with me, but its too distracting. I never use it anymore. 98MB ram, 4GB drive, pentium processor.

i've got one for $150...it's a toshiba satellite something or other (i forget the model), comes with a wireless card, too

i don't have the model or specs with me right now, but pm me if interested...it works just fine, but it does NOT come with an OS, though the sticker on the bottom gives you a valid license

I have a nokia 770 Internet Tablet that I don't use anymore I would let go for cheap. It's not a full laptop obviously, but it lets you get on the internet no problems. It's like an iphone but without the phone.

you can buy a brand new laptop for $300 if you look around.

hell, i got a dual-core Intel with all the basic stuff you'd expect on a new computer (DVD burner, 4 USB ports, etc) for $350 just a couple of months ago.

I got an old 200 mhz dell inspiron, 3.5gb hard drive, active matrix screen (that was the big thing then), and a touch pad....haven't tried putting wireless on it, but it has an old USB 1.0 port on it - ill even throw in a really nice dell carrying case...yea?

No, I haven't been looking for "a" laptop for a year.
I have bought about seven of these. And looking for more.
They are cleaned up and given to needy kids who couldn't afford a computer of their own.
I'm just playing middle man here on TWW.
