i paid $20 for it at Toys R Us on glenwood when they were going out of business. It was a good investment as far as I'm concerned (I have it hooked up to an LCD flat panel monitor). I don't know if I'd pay $50 for it though.

^ its worth the dvd up conversion i think

the only thing i don't like is letterboxed widescreen dvds get mapped in a non widescreen format on crappy dvds and w/ vga you cannot zoom on my tv.

so on this 1680 native, 22" LCD should i be using 1280 x 768 widescreen resolution?

with the vga cable there are tons of output choices... just like a normal video card.

^^depends on the LCD. It may take 1920 by 1080 and scale it to 1680 by 1050. On my gateway monitor it looks better than 1280 by 768.

is xbox-scene.com still the reliable info site? and is there 1 particular chip/mod (if it's not all softmod) that most people buy?
