This guy would be GREAT for our Bobcats. He is a damn good coach that turned Indiana/Detroit around. He lost his job almost fully because of the fight with the crowd unfortunately.

Thoughts on him being new Bobcats coach????

If I was MJ, I would be on the horn trying to bring Carlisle in. Carlisle should still be coaching the Pistons today, but he was ran out b/c he couldn't get them to the Finals. Still, great coach.

I think he's either going to Charlotte or Sacramento IMO. If he goes to CHA and a good draft, then they'll challenge for the 8th seed. Goes to SAC, then the Kings are in the playoffs next year with the talent he has, but I don't think Carlisle wants to deal with Artest again, so if he goes, Artest is being dealt.

I was on the phone and didn't catch all of it, but they really only mentioned it in passing. I think the total time they talked about him was about 2 minutes.

I think with Artest being in Sac and our chances of fielding a good team next year should favor us.

I was excited when I saw he was fired today and immediately thought Charlotte could hire him.

Bob probably wants a brotha for a coach though.

It would be such an upgrade over Bernie....but Carlisle is white so not sure if Bob would hire him.

as others have said, this guy seems to be a good coach that was dealt a roster of punks. Even with that, he led the Pacers to their best record in franchise history a few years ago (60+ wins).

If I'm MJ, he's my first, second, third choice. And hell no to Doug Collins.
