For those who are fans of the league, do you think you'd watch if this was the matchup?

I never miss the playoffs, but I thinking today that if these 2 teams played in the Finals, I would struggle to care

It would be a ratings disaster and the worst possible scenario for the league

I don't care about either of those teams because they aren't THAT good and I know they won't make the finals. It is impossible because they aren't THAT good and they won't make the finals.

I would watch the games and they would be entertaining, but that is certainly the least interesting possible match up.

Would you say the same thing if the Panthers and Jags made the Super Bowl back in 97? Just depends on your interest in the teams. Most of the nation wouldn't care about seeing those teams cause they aren't big market teams. Doesn't mean the NBA is gonna collapse but every now and then these type of teams make it in. Thankfully a seven game series gives this scenario a 5% chance of happening.

I don't think it would be hard to think an average sports fan would want to watch the Utah Jazz (who as a team have had playoff success in the past 20 years) more compared to a Toronto team who hasn't done much in there time in the NBA.
