^^ that game was the heat.

I had one of those kickass Microsoft sidewinder joysticks to go with it.

Although I could never figure out how to get past the level with the forcefield.

^^ only one i remember with any type of shield or defense was the one in the pyramid looking things (didnt it all look like shit back then). i just outfitted a tiny mech with 1 lazer and max speed and ran past the enemies. took me like 5 minutes to blow up the generator with my tiny lazer, but it worked.
