I'm sure we could argue for days or weeks or years about whether or not various news sources are biased or not or lean one way or the other but let's pretend for a second that I wanted a good source for Conservative headlines and one for Liberal Headlines...what would you suggest? And I mean besides the Fox's, CNN's and MSNBC's....for instance, is thedailykos a good example of a liberal source? what are some others? How about Conservative? And I'm not looking for conspiracy nutjobs on either side but perhaps sources that one side might actually agree is a respectable source of the other side's.

???

http://www.carolinajournal.com/

Carolina Journal is considered by many to be a conservative publication. It covers mostly North Carolina issues--it also has a higher education section, and its writers frequently cover higher education issues.

(well, I would put thedailykos in the nut-job category, but.... )

http://www.worldnetdaily.com (you might find this borderline "nut-job", as you put it, at times)

dailykos is a perfect example of a liberal source. I don't think people could legitimately call them nutjobs, but it's an incredibly biased blog.

Actually there's no such thing as "conservative media", per se.

Fox News is 100% unbiased, all other "mainstream" sources are liberal.

I guess you might be able to classify someone like Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly as slightly right of center.

Well, newsmax could be considered leaning conservative.

Or leaning retarded, I don't know.

Just a bit.

http://www.newsmax.com/

If you're looking for a way to keep your views diversified, use google news. news.google.com

I use that and just pick whatever news source pops up first for a given article. Usually read news from western sources through that, but you get to read stuff from news sources based out of the UK, China, US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, etc. You do get quite a different variety of spin by using it, and it helps keep you out of a "rut".

Couldn't all news sources present the news that someone would find associated with one side of a political agenda or another?

Anyways, DIGG.com is pretty fucking liberal because it always talks about the enviorment!

I look there for neato hippy car crap that will never happen. Some neat articles on that site.

Well I guess I was just looking for an easy way to give political headlines on my site....I myself am very middle....I lean right on some things, left on others, but finding a site that has headlines that scream one way or the other pisses me off no matter what way I feel. I mean fuck, if a roadside bomb goes off in Iraq, I don't want to read the headline, "OMG Huge Explosion Rocks Iraq...Lots of American Soldiers Who Should Be Home Instead of Still Serving In Iraq, Get Blown Up"...... nor do I want to read, "Minor Setback Today in the War on Terror When A Bunch of Terrorists Continue To Prance Around the Axis of Evil".

I just wanna read 'Roadside Bomb Goes Off in Iraq'. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR? I want NEWS, not COMMENTARY
