how much u willing to spend?

i have an hp pavillion dv1311se laptop, its small, its made for watching movies and shit.
intel celeron (1.4ghz)
wireless card
1.25 gigs of memory (nice )
dvd player
80gb harddrive
new keyboard (yea thats right, i bought a new keyboard that i havent installed yet so it feels nice)
lots of media ports and shit that i never use (digital camera memory card slots to read pictures etc)

only thing wrong with it is that it won't burn cd's with itunes or windows media player, not sure if its the burner or something firmware related..... i installed new firmware and tried everything but it didnt work the cd rom still plays movies and runs cd's without a problem.

you can get a pretty decent one new for around 600, I KNOW THATS NOT WHAT YOU ASKED FOR!!!1

but ive found with laptops in my short experience that people wont sell them cheap (cause they probably spent over 1k on theirs haha) so you might as well pay 200 extra and get one 20 times better

I gotta IBM thinkpad 770. pretty old, but fully functional. good for writing papers and internet surfin (if your not downloading media or games).
~96Mb ram
~4Gb HD
~pentium processor
~Windows 98
~wireless internet card

Dad has a Toshiba, Celron...I think its at least 1500mhx, 1gb of ram, XP....15inch...wireless built in...he just surfs the next and bought a new one...I think it wants $300 for it.

I have a dell inspiron 600m, battery is dead, but PS works fine.
screen works, dvd drive works fine, 512 ram 1.4ghz ati radeon 9000
it kills hdd's after 2-3 months for some reason (check link below)

im thinking a new HDD with warranty should do the trick(I never tried a brand new drive in it, so I may
have just had HORRIBLE used hdd luck).

I'll let it go for $200, since you need a hdd to make it werk...alternately, it might boot off of an
