my dad has a boat down at wrightsville beach. supposed to be like 90 degrees next week. Hot enough?

but seriously... for a decent cruise, you will want to spend a bit more than that. It will be well worth it.

here is a good site for deals though. http://www.cheapcaribbean.com/

Yeah you will need at least $1000 to take a cruise and not make it a waste of your time.

what do you do on a 3 day cruise? get on the boat, eat a dinner, and get off the boat?

once i won a "cruise" on this timeshare scam dinner thing

it was the 4 hours or whatever to get from miami to nassau, and you had to pay for your own drinks.

that sucked

I wasn't being condescending. I was telling you that you will enjoy it alot more if you spend 800-900. Even if it means saving a little longer.

exactly, the price of the ticket is only half the cost of a cruise. Take plenty of money, you are there on vacation, who wants to worry about money when they are trying to have a good time? 7 day cruise was $750 for the cruise itself. Spent another $800 that week, shopping, shore excursions, partying, gas, parking fees...

That might be the funniest thing I have read all day and it's not really nice any time of year.

Hey man. For example I am doing a big cruise thing for nc state, va tech students and others we met this year on our cruise next March. I can get a big ship...the cruise, port taxes, and everything for 533 per person for 7 nights. Plus an open hour happy hour etc. Stay tuned like I have said in other posts I will let you know everything in a post soon enough. Oh and my advice is you need at least 350 spending for a 7 night cruise. thats 50 bucks a day and thats including the fact that I had snuck alchohol on, stayed out of the casinos and didn't do excursions. Basically drank the whole time.

sounds like you're getting ripped off. $800 in rent, plus a car payment, but you can't afford a halfway decent vacation? get a smaller place, get rid of the car payment, and take a real vacation.

i've never understood why people throw away so much money on material things (rent and cars), and short themselves on awesome experiences (like all-inclusive vacations).
