I haven't played Battlefield 2 in a while. Tonight I booted it up, and during gameplay, I can hear all the sounds going on in the game at full volume.
As in I hear every "eeeerrrrgggg" of someone dying, every gunshot, every cartridge hitting the ground.
I tried googling this, but no luck. Any ideas on what it could be? 5/6/2007 1:11:52 AM |

Must be god mode. But seriously I've never heard of that, I guess you should reinstall/re-patch it if it won't ever go away, make sure it's not a glitchy server or anything. 5/6/2007 1:36:06 AM |

BF2 gets pissy when you stop playing it for a while. I hadn't played it for a few months and I fired it up to find out that the shortcuts I had programmed for my mouse stopped working. 5/6/2007 12:36:33 PM |

i can't even install bf2 on my computer anymore. halfway in the installation, it has a 'fatal error'. 2142 loads just fine...
Are you using on board sound? Is it realtek? There's been a problem with them not processing sound correctly, so try downloading the latest drivers for them through your motherboard manufacturer. 5/6/2007 3:47:19 PM |

should try EA's website for troubleshooting. Just go there and search for it. They have fixes for any type of problems. 5/6/2007 7:16:56 PM |
