You mean you're having trouble with programming in general? It's been forever since I've taken fortran, but I made an A in the class. It's not that hard. Programming is not that hard. The only effort required on your part is learning the syntax of the language, and as long as you have the book for the class you can easily look up whatever it is that you need.

on a somewhat related subject...I am a senior in a completely unrelated major to CSC, but the thought has recently crossed my mind that I might try and get a masters in comp sci. What would be a good course to take or audit to get a good grasp on programming? java?

To answer your question, my friend, you ABSOLUTELY need the following courses in order to be accepted into the Master's program in CSC:1) csc 1162) csc 2163) csc 2264) csc 2365) csc 2466) csc 316Good luck, either way.

yea, i realize that. i just wanted to know which intro course would be the most indicative of things to come
5/14/2007 6:01:35 PM
CSC116 would be a good start

Thank god you work with partners in CSC 116. I talked my teacher into letting me out w/ a C, but I still have no clue how to write a program.
