my hard drive apparently is fried, and no computer will read it, so is there a way to get my data off of it or is it completely worthless now? 5/14/2007 11:39:32 AM |

there is a way - it depends on how much money the information is worth to you though 5/14/2007 11:40:14 AM |

I've seen in the $xxx-$x,xxx range also. Depends on how the drive failed and whatnot. Not a cheap solution to the problem though that I know of. 5/14/2007 3:23:59 PM |

you can always try putting it in the freezer for awhile and then hooking it up. some people have been able to get drives to work again for a short time by doing this. 5/16/2007 9:54:08 PM |

^yep, saw it work yesterday. drive was completely dead and we were able to get ~9gb off of it after it being in the freezer, i didn't think it would actually work 5/16/2007 10:11:52 PM |
