OK, I know how people here hate such things (or hate such things being posted here, not hate the things per se), and usually I am one of those people.
But this one really caught my eye.
Has anybody tried it, or know anybody who has tried it?
If one can make $500-1,500/month just with a little bit of work on the side, why not? That's very good pocket money, or money towards some goal, whatever you see it as.
So?
This is a legit thread, and all flamers will be electrocuted. 6/1/2007 7:44:43 PM |

^ how do you know?
just because it looks like one?
so are you saying after you pay $30 to join, that's it? you lose your money, and you can't make any? that's how paidtypists.com makes their money? and assuming some people at least have joined, but haven't received the money-making opportunity in return for the $30 joining fee, how come they (paidtypists.com) haven't been sued, and how come they are still advertising?

Nearly all of these typing "jobs" are scams or at best completely misrepresented.
They are not actual jobs like they would like you to believe. The fee you pay does not set you up for any kind of legitimate home typist job or contacts. It actually gets you training materials that teach you how to make money by putting up ads or websites similar to the one that you responded to in order to scam money out of other people. It's not actually illegal, but it's not any kind of real money making opportunity.

The amount of information out there about just how fishy these schemes are is so ridiculous that I cannot believe that anyone ever falls for them.

PLEASE tell this is a big joke. If you are serious about this, I will be forced to mock you mercilessly for the rest of the time you are on this site.
http://www.paidtypists.com is registered to http://www.vegasresearch.com (look familiar?)
But I can guarantee you this is a fucking scam at worst, and at best a minimum wage part time job. Why don't YOU sign up, pay the money and tell us what happens?
Or, would you like me to start posting hundreds of "work at home jobs" websites that require a similar startup "fee"?
This shit is as commonplace as the 419 scams, the fact that you are actually being suckered by this is mind boggling.6/1/2007 10:40:47 PM |

I think that most people would know by now that if you have to pay a fee to start a job, it is a scam. 6/1/2007 10:45:30 PM |
