Ok so I typed out this huge thing to post on craigslist and I Ctrl+C but then it didn't work and I copied something else after that before I realized it didn't work

is there any way to search items on the clipboard to find it? I did that in word but it just showed the last thing I copied instead of what I need

I'm just not wanting to type out my huge listing of stuff for sale again

just checking to see if anyone has any tricks up their sleeve
thanks in advance

the clipboard only holds one bit at a time. It's not like a list you can refer back to. The "clipboard" in Microsoft Word is not the windows clipboard, it's a separate feature of Office.

If you Ctrl-C and forget, you are shit outta luck. It sucks, I've done it many times myself. I keep notepad open all the time just for this reason, though I'm sure there is some keylogging shareware out there that will save your clipboard instances.

I was checking out some website that had some codes to locate a list of stuff on the clipboard but I had no idea what it was talking about.
