Looking at getting the following after the disaster that was my alienware-
Needs to be Very light Very portable Good battery life. Wireless
Basically planning on getting something for travel since i wont get a work laptop till august or later. Does not need to run WoW or other games, just email/internet.
Not so sure about used though. cheap but reliable is good. (We're looking for good and cheap but not necissarily fast etc etc)
Saying this here not the other thread because the other person wants games and i've given up on the idea of a laptop that's worth a shit that's good enough to run games nicely.

Tiger Direct, Craigslist, Costco
For just those requirements it shouldn't be too hard
Check out any refurbished models from tiger as well, since I guess you dont plan on keeping it too long. 6/11/2007 8:14:48 PM |

pretty much anywhere runs $400 PC's almost every other weekend now. Toshiba makes some nice low-end laptops. I have one I bought of my parents and it's really nice, lasts about 3.5 hours and only weighs about 5lbs. 6/12/2007 12:54:34 AM |
