Lots of shops have been recommended on tdub... any of them worth going to for an engine swap? Swapping out my MR2 engine... it's finally had it.

japan direct will do the swap? i'm talking to them now about getting the engine itself, but they didn't mention anything about being able to do the work.

Unless something has changed, Japan Direct will NOT do the work. For a little while they rented out space to some "speed" shop and they were doing them but I was not impressed. One of my friend's used to work for JD and I checked out a couple of cars that the guy was doing and it was just horrible. Phantasm will do it but you'll pay out the ass for it. If I didn't do my own work, I'd much rather get someone on here to do it.

Tuner Solutions is in the same building as JD and they did my work for me on my 06 Accord and some other cars, they specialize in Toyota, Nissan and Honda's.

I think they are very good, they just did my suspension for me.

call and ask for Jason he is the owner and a very nice guy
