using WinRAR or something else...

need to zip thousands of files, each in their own zip file, and bring them all to one directory.

you can do it in *nix easily.

I had to write a python script yesterday to do a 2-level deep directory search, you could do the same but just have it zip each file

i ended up using 'for' in the windows command prompt to recursively zip each individual file in all subdirs.

for /r %V in (*) do zip %v

similar to that
